This paper mache mask is formed from thirteen individual paper mache boots. No two are alike!

Paper clay can be rolled and cut just like a pie crust, enabling the formation of smooth soles and heels on the boots. Most of the unique patterns were made by covering the boots with a thin layer of clay and then carving pieces of it away.
