It’s also my favorite food, my desert island disc, my secret diary, and the last face I will see before I die. Halloween is how I like to spend at least three months out of every year.

I don’t have pictures of everything. Some of these costumes are from the dark ages, before everyone carried recording devices at all times. Some had pictures saved only on a disused computer hard drive, that may or may not still exist in Illinois. Also, it’s hard to be certain of getting good pictures when you’re busy having actual fun, and that’s the trouble with Halloween. It’s the most fun day of all.

These galleries represent the majority of my Halloween endeavors since 2006. Please feel free to steal all my ideas and make your own amazing costumes. Everything I’ve done here is achievable on a limited budget, with nothing more than a little practice and one million hours of free time.
