Grease Monkey.
As soon as the Grease Monkey mask was finished, I knew that I wanted to wear him for 2019. Bill asked for some kind of frog mask, and at the time I was experimenting with making different textures out of paper mache. So what I came up with was Industrial Frog No. 1, which resembles beaten metal, tire rubber, and sparkle-coated fiberglass.
My vision of the Grease Monkey was that he was like a garage mechanic, who had been built from scraps laying around the garage. He has dirty coveralls (naturally), a fur vest (unnaturally), and carries around a three-foot monkey wrench in case he needs to deconstruct any bad jokes.
I helped Bill execute his vision for the Industrial Frog Prince, which includes a crown wrapped in barbed wire, and a long military coat painted like the markings of a frog. He even sported a bandolier made from a real tire tread and animal bones!
And with that, the trifecta! We murdered the competition because it was Halloween.
