Shannon was an epic costume and I was so proud of her! I’d been saving this big ol’ forty inch hand-stretched canvas for something special, and Shannon is special.

Since the portrait of my partner Bill in his Morihar costume is the second-largest canvas in this collection, it made sense to play them off of one another. Morihar is set against a full background of autumn leaves, so I decided to give Shannon a full background of spring meadows and wildflowers.
